Man Up Mission
MTS Founder Visits Africa on Humanitarian Mission
MTS founder and president, Mitch
Hauschildt, recently spent 16 days performing humanitarian work in
parts of Uganda and Ethiopia. Hauschildt was a member of the
first ever "Man Up" trip to Africa. The trip included 26 men o
f
all ages aimed at "being a father to the fatherless." They
performed a variety of good works at orphanages, villages and
children's prisons. The Man Up mission was founded by Roger
Gibson of Branson, Missouri and coordinated by Visiting Orphans, a
non-profit organization based out of Nashville, Tennessee.
"It was great to be a part of something
that is bigger than I am," says Hauschildt of the trip. "To see
so many men who are sons, fathers, and grandfathers 'Man Up' to help
those less fortunate was truly inspirational. The opportunity
changed how I view the world and I can guarantee that missions work
will be a part of my life going forward."

When asked about other men and women
getting involved, his response
was "Absolutely everyone should get involved! I am just like
every other man out there who is looking for a way to make a
difference. Don't be afraid to take a chance to try something
new. You won't regret it!"
